Dissociative Identity Disorder and Connecting with God

Between working full time and ministering nearly full time in the evenings, it gets a bit crazy with my weekly schedule. Because I am so busy, I am only currently working with cases that fall under the M16 umbrella (at In the Potter's Hands counseling). That is, people who have nowhere else to turn, and their church doesn't have the resources to help them with the severity of their spiritual situation. In other words, all my cases are 911 spiritual emergency cases I am on. My ministry is very entrenched in spiritual warfare, and there are a lot of things I see at this level of warfare I like sharing with others in this ministry.

Today, I want to elaborate on a season the Holy Spirit has me in. A Holy Spirit season is a theme of ministry training you are lead into, and it is a repetitious theme you see in the cases you are working on at the current moment.  The season I am in now is the Connecting with God season.

I have multiple high-level cases involving severe demonic obsession,  ritual abuse survivors, and other forms of dissociative identity disorder involving demonic oppression.

The repeating theme that has surfaced in this time is that of individuals being unintentionally but badly hurt, from bad prophetic, deliverance, and Sozo ministry. Wow, did I just shove the stick in the hornet's nest? Well, don't be so religious just yet, here me out.

Because dissociative identity disorder involves a soul fractured into multiple identities (parts, or formerly personalities), a part in the D.I.D. system will seek help for healing. The part that seeks healing from Jesus, we call the Christian Host.

Now, what is difficult to the minister, is that a person may show up, and be D.I.D., but the minister isn't immediately aware of the individual's state of consciousness or being. D.I.D. souls. They don't usually disclose this information to the minister. Many times the Christian Host believes that a deliverance or Sozo prayer session will be a magic prayer bullet. This is never the case!!! Jesus doesn't heal internal trauma and pain at the snap of a finger. Jesus walks them out of this.

Now, how do you tell if the individual seeking prayer is D.I.D.? The individual will appear to be a bit odd or a bit off in the session. One telltale sign is that you're going in circles in the session. Spinning your wheels in the mud, so to speak.

I tend to recognize this as D.I.D., someone with a fractured soul. I have had to deal with too many counseling sessions, where non-discerning Sozo and deliverance ministries determined the fractured soul parts to be demons. When I am at this juncture of discerning, which I do at the beginning of every session with a new person seeking help, I have them connect with Jesus. I want to see what they're interior life is like. Eight times out of ten, I will encounter people who claim to be prophetic but can't connect with Jesus in their soul. Yes, figure that one out!

I will simply work with the soul before me and have them meditate on Psalm 46:10 and work with them to connect with the indwelling Jesus. The Charismatics always tell me they are having a fantastic vision with Jesus and angels. This is a soulish rendition from the D.I.D.-er to throw you off track. What I try to get them to do is simply sit on a park bench with Jesus in the place of their soul where they go everyday to meet him for prayer.

These individuals can't do this, and then they proceed to tell you how they can't meditate or read the Bible. This is not demonic! This is a fractured soul. When I encounter this, I do not proceed with any deliverance ministry. You need to change course in ministry and take them by the hand in baby steps. My recommendation is to find a ministry or counselor that understands D.I.D. Sozos and deliverance ministry will make them much worse!!!

In counseling, I work with the traumatized soul to connect with Jesus, it could take one session, or it could take a year. Why do I do this? If you have ever taken a martial arts, the first thing they teach you is your fighting stance! Equipping a fractured soul to connect with God is teaching them their fighting stance! They must learn to connect and speak with God to find out what is truth and what is lies from the enemy. A soul that can't connect with God is in a locked state of hopelessness. No matter how much of a deliverance show you put on, and that's all it will be at this juncture, the soul will never be set free. They must learn to fight their own way out and meet Jesus. D.I.D usually occurs from surviving severe traumatic experiences from childhood, such as emotional and sexual abuse, ritual abuse, abduction and slavery, and sex trafficking.

Not all D.I.D.-ers have an issue connecting with God. The ones that can I have worked with attribute this to having had very good youth pastors in their lives who helped them with their spiritual direction. So take note youth pastors, less bowling with frozen chickens and more emphasis on having the youth learning to connect with God.

And whatever you do, if you discover the soul before you is D.I.D., refrain from any and all forms of prophetic ministry!!! Don't care if the word is from a prophet on the Elijah list, no prophetic words to D.I.D.-ers. PERIOD! This will be the subject of another blog conversation I need to address. Again, more on this later.

Healing the Land from Dabbler Spells and Rituals

What do you do when someone performs a curse ritual on your property and you find the crime scene? I get many e-mails on this one particular subject. What do we do when we discover a curse has been placed on our home and our land? There are varying degrees to this question depending on the severity of the spiritual disease on the land. In this discussion I am going to focus on a common scenario I get asked about. It goes something along the lines of this. An ex-lover or ex-spouse was a practicing witch and you are a Christian believer. The breakup was very messy and the witch cursed you and your house. You woke up one morning and found the smoldering black candles from a ritual in your living room or your front yard. 

What do you do?

For one, do not simply clean up the ritual site and throw the items away. The tainted site must be cleansed, this is a spiritual crime scene and the attachments and the doorways must be closed. Throwing away items or destroying them only makes things worse if the attachments and ties are not broken off. 

Step 1 – Clean Yourself Up First!

The day you discover the defilement I would immediately go into a liquid fast for 24 hours. Or maybe just fast from food for the day. If you are diabetic or have health issues, do not fast! Connect with God and go to Him in supplication (face down on the knees) and prayer. Once you have connected with God and discussed with Him your situation ask Him if you are released into this battle. 

This is all about dialog with Jesus Christ, and not about Christian rituals to undo this defilement. 

• During this moment in prayer, confess your sins of being in a relationship out of wedlock, or involved in an ungodly union of the flesh with a witch.
•  Ask God to break bonds of the soul, and your free will you, made with this individual. 
• Ask for being released from spiritual attachments and strongholds coming through from sex. 
• Repent for knowingly having sex in a sinful manner, either out of wedlock, or with a witch or both. 
• Ask God to cleanse you and forgive you of these sins. I recommend having a prayer partner with you who isn’t afraid of this stuff. If you have a guitar or a friend that can lead some worship – worship up first!

If anything demonic should manifest or make objects move bind it!

We do not petition God in warfare, Jesus has given us dominion and authority over the demonic. When the demonic shows itself pray:

"I bind you in the authority Jesus Christ! I expel you from this house, this land, and the people who live here. I sever any and all spiritual attachments through the sword of the spirit and the blood of Jesus Christ. I command you to go where the Holy Spirit tells you to go. Leave here and never return! In the name of Jesus Christ!"

Step 2 - Renounce and Repent for the Sin of Witchcraft

After you have finished in prayer with Jesus, and you feel the ties of the free will have been broken, then proceed to the next step of the cleansing. Bless a cup of water, tap water works. 

• Ask Jesus to bless and sanctify the water. There is no process in this or ritual. 
• The concept is to stay in prayer and dialogue with Jesus as you bless the water. Let the Holy Spirit give you the words to say. 
• You will be surprised at how you can pray when you surrender to Jesus. 
• Keep it simple. 
• You are not holding a Mass of exorcism. 
• Jesus is your deliverer. 
• If you are stuck in what to pray just go to Matthew 6 and read aloud the Lord's prayer. 

 Stay in dialogue with Him in prayer. You don’t have to speak the whole time. Many times you speak and the rest of the time you'll be in mental prayer with Jesus. Mental prayer is simply having a conversation with Jesus - in your head. 

Now you should have 8 oz of Holy Water. If you don’t trust yourself, go to a local Roman Catholic church and ask them for some blessed Holy Water. Have the pastor of your church bless water for you. Some Bible bookstores sell it too. 

Now go to where the ritual defilement took place (note this guide is for a basic ritual defilement, not for a site of routine Satanic rituals, that you will need a lot more help with and a Christian warfare team– ‘not a paranormal’ team).  

• Take your blessed water, and pour some out in your hand. 
• Take the blessed water and sprinkle it on the defiled objects (the candles and ritual objects).
• Pray the following (this is praying, not reciting),

In the authority of Jesus Christ. I bind the demonic and witchcraft in these objects. Every knee will bow in heaven and earth, and under the earth. And every tongue will confess the name of Jesus Christ. Witchcraft you are bound. I forbid the demons here from calling on higher spirits. Jesus if there is anything from the heavenly realms involved in this I petition you to please shut it down. Witchcraft you have no power here.

Jesus I repent, renounce and take ownership for the witchcraft that I have allowed in my life. I renounce Satan, his forces of darkness, and witchcraft. I ask that you forgive me and release me and my family line from any and all of these curses. I repent for having ungodly sex and allowing myself to be involved with this. I repent for any and all rituals I was will-fully involved in. Lord I ask you to rebuke the enemy and deliver me. In your Son’s precious name, Jesus Christ, amen.

• Now expel the demonic attachment to the objects. 
• Pray the following,

In the authority of Jesus Christ you are bound. I expel you from my property, my finances, my health, and my life. I command you to go where the Holy Spirit tells you to go. Never return to me or my property. You are expelled forever from me and my family line. Go where the Holy Spirit tells you to go.
Continue praying like this until you are satisfied the spiritual attachment is broken.

Step 3 Healing the land at the defiled site.

Take a moment before proceeding to destroy the objects, and allow the Holy Spirit to bring to memory and all things you need to repent from. 

• Now remove the objects to somewhere that will allow you to burn them. Once the items are removed from the site. 
• Sprinkle more Holy water over the desecrated site and pray,

Jesus I ask you to bring healing to this land of yours that was defiled. In the authority of Jesus Christ I command all demonic portals to be closed and never be re-opened. I ask the light of Jesus Christ come into this darkness and seal the demonic portals. The Lord rebuke you. Father in heaven please release your healing and forgiveness on this land. Let this land be blessed with your abundance and presence. I bind every curse and ask that they be turned into blessings. Every atom, every molecule, every mineral of this soil was spoken into existence by you. Today I ask you to consecrate this land and make it healed and blessed. These things I ask in your son’s precious name, Jesus Christ! Amen.

Step 4 -  Burn it!

Once you feel the heaviness lifted from the defilement. Proceed to burning the defiled objects which are now exorcised from witchcraft, demons, and spiritual attachments. You can’t skip exorcising the defiled objects, this will make the matters much, much, much worse if skipped. The spiritual attachments must be broken. When you are at this point, put the objects in an old barrel and burn it! Worship and give praises of deliverance as the material burns. Thank Jesus for his sovereignty over all creation and that He is the Creator who loves us.

Step 5 – Bless the Fence Line

You can even do this step while you are waiting for the defiled materials to incinerate. Prayer walk the four corners of your fence line and bless the property.

I recommend getting some olive oil (every kitchen has this, right?) and bless it like you did the cup of water. If you have anointing oil that works too. 

• Now with the oil in hand, let’s commence walking the land.

• Read from scripture, 2 Chronicles 7:14

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

• Thank the Lord for His presence and begin to walk your fence line. 
• This is a prayer walk. Every step you take, like Joshua, you are taking possession of the land. 
• Stay in dialogue with Jesus and pray what comes to mind. 
• Anoint all four corners of your property with crosses you drew with your finger dipped in the anointing oil.
• Pray in warfare,

“Only the light of Jesus Christ is allowed on my land and I expel all darkness. You are not to cross the perimeter and you are bound. This land is Holy land. In the authority of the King of kings, the Lord of lords, Jesus Christ.”

Read from scripture:

3 So Joshua said to the Israelites: “How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has given you? Joshua 18:3

Step 6 – Faith 

 

Stand in faith that the Lord healed your land. Do not go off looking for a fight with demons and witchcraft. Notice I didn’t bind Satan as most ministers wrongly do. Satan is high up fallen angel he is not a demon. I used the protocols from Jude 8-10 and Zechariah 4 to deal with him. The Lord rebuke Satan and his Satanic angels. We don’t step into that fight. We only have dominion over earthbound demons. Stay out of the heavenly realms (especially the 2nd heaven), too many Christians ignorantly believe that they can take on principalities and wicked angels. A very big tactical error! We don't have dominion in heaven. The heaven belongs to the Lord!

What I outlined is simple. Nothing complicated. The same Holy Spirit that is in me is in you. So there is no reason why this won’t work for you. This is warfare tested material. You just need to stand in your authority like the 70 disciples did in Luke 10. Don’t complicate things, there is no process or ritual. Just keep the dialog open with the tri-une God that dwells inside you and sits on His throne in mountain of heaven.

Recommendations

Never do this alone. When sin is involved it helps to get the confession out in the open. It removes any and all toeholds from the demonic. I strongly recommend a prayer team of at least 1-5 people. Pray the land and walk in the prophetic (listen to God). If you have a prayer team worship before the land cleansing. Keep it simple and invite the presence of God into the situation.
After the cleansing has completed, take communion and seal the healing with covenant to the Lord.

The land can be healed after one blessing but there may still be some warfare. The spirits may still manifest. Move on to a house blessing and stay in the fight. Eventually the spirits will leave. If you are strong in your faith, they will most likely depart from your property that day. If your waning in your spiritual authority, they will try to return and test you. This is where more spiritual warfare comes in. Don’t take it personal, God may allow this trial to strengthen you and show you the spiritual authority you didn’t realize you already walk in.

The key point this is all about your power in prayer with your creator, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is your faith in Kingdom come and Your Will be done! Notice we're not doing any outlandish stuff with sage burning? It's all about you and Jesus connecting and standing in your authority that he gave to you over two thousand years ago at the victory on the cross. All things were created by Him and for Him. Demons are fallen angels that serve God.

This is basic warfare for land and objects that were defiled and used in one ritual or dabbling in the occult (such as Tarrot cards, black candles, and ouiji boards). Satanic rituals, homes, lands, and objects used frequently in rituals require special deliverance ministers and exorcists who operate in this pastoral office.

Can a Christian be Possessed?

The Western church is experiencing an identity crisis. It has allowed human reasoning and science to come in to the pulpit and replace faith and re-interpret scripture. You can step into literally any church in America and start a discussion with congregation on the Holy Spirit, gifts of the Spirit, specifically the gift tongues, or about demonized Christians, and within moments you will see a house divided. On these subject matters the Western church body really doesn’t know what it believes. When I discuss the subject matter of demonized Christians in a third world country, the body of Christ believes it is a matter of fact. They have seen the demons who can’t hide behind the protective barrier of human reason. If in a Western church culture I mention that a Christian can be demonized, in a matter of seconds, the spiritual food fight begins. The root of this division is that we have allowed the natural, the knowledge of the fallen world of man, replace the supernatural wisdom of God. When this happens we begin to build wall, upon wall, upon wall of false doctrine. False doctrines are positions the church adheres to as biblical but really aren’t.

I am going to specifically address the false doctrine that a Christian can’t have a demon. We’re going to have to go through definitions and discuss some aspects of the soul to in order to reveal how this can and does occur.

Demonic Possession

Demonic possession is when demons are in control of the body and mind. The person’s will of the soul is completely compromised from making their own decisions.The bible provides three very clear examples of demonic possession in Mark 5, the Gerasene demoniac, again in Mark 9, the possessed boy who throws himself into the fire, and in Acts 28, the oracle demoniac. Let’s take a look at a severe possession example in scripture found in Mark 5.

1 They came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gerasenes. 2 When He got out of the boat, immediately a man from the tombs with an unclean spirit met Him, 3 and he had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain; 4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him. 5 Constantly, night and day, he was screaming among the tombs and in the mountains, and gashing himself with stones. - Mark 5:1-5

The gospel of Mark clearly outlines a demoniac, one who is with demons. In this context, the individual is clearly possessed and the will of his soul is compromised. The spirits in control of him making him in linger around the cemetery with the dead. This man does not sleep and he possess supernatural strength where he can break free of shackles. He screams day and night as he cuts himself. His body and soul are  in torment. The accumulation of all these behaviors, and the demon speaking through the man are signs of demonic possession. The scripture does not provide a clear picture of how this man came to this state of possession. Nor are we told if this was once any religious man. The scripture only reveals the state of possession the man is in. The context of the scripture is purely to demonstrate the authority of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

6 Seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him; 7 and shouting with a loud voice, he *said, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!” - Mark 5:6-7

The demons bowed to Jesus Christ, just as Paul revealed to us they would in the epistles.

10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. - Philippians 2:10-11

I have seen this demonstrated to me one time while I was ministering to a person with demons. The demons mocked me and told me that Jesus was lie. I quoted Philippians 2:10 and the demons hit the flower bowing, looking up at me telling me how much they hate Jesus. The demons bowed and confessed that Jesus Christ was Lord.

Next Jesus performed an exorcism on the demoniac. This wasn’t deliverance session, this was an exorcism. Let’s take a look,

8 For He had been saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” 9 And He was asking him, “What is your name?” And he (the demons) said to Him, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 And he began to implore Him earnestly not to send them out of the country. - Mark 5:8-10

This is an exorcism because of the severity of the demonic affliction - a possession. Jesus expels the demons by commanding them to leave. Jesus then commands the spirits to identify themselves, they respond with their name, “Legion”. Demons don’t like giving out their name, they want to be hidden. Only ministers walking in their spiritual authority should do this. Once you have the demon’s name you need to expel it.In Mark 5, the “Legion” clearly identified Jesus as the Son of God incarnate. Notice how the demons started plea bargaining? They wanted to be sent into the herd of pigs.

13 Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea. - Mark 5:13

What is going on with the pigs killing themselves? From my experience it has to do with the dynamics of the soul. When the “Legion” was in the demoniac, it had within their gang of demons, spirits of death. Although the possessed man’s mind was compromised, the demons could never fully get him to kill himself. Somewhere deep inside this man’s soul, his will and intellect were still fighting against the possession. The demons had the power to make him cut himself and be in pain, but the possession wasn’t complete enough to destroy the man’s will to live. His internal survival instinct was keeping him alive. The soul was still having a cataclysmic battle deep inside.

The pigs, on the other hand, were incapable of fighting off such a mind attack. Let alone does a pig even have a soul? The urges from the spirits of death were so overwhelming in the pigs that they just immediately ran off and killed themselves. This is a testament to the power of the will of the human soul. The demoniac’s mind was able to wrestle with the “Legion”. The pigs could not. It’s the nature of the demons to destroy. The pigs didn’t stand a chance. I don’t even think the demons doing the negotiating saw that coming.

Now, can a Christian be possessed by demons? Let’s do some criminal investigation around the Gerasenes demoniac. I want to use this scenario and build a model to demonstrate a point that a Christian can be possessed. In the model, we’re going to use a fictitious person name Sam. Sam is an elder of church. Very respected in his church and the go to guy for receiving prayer ministry. One night a friend of Sam’s calls him and invites him out to a cemetery to go ghost hunting. Sam knows it’s wrong and against the Word of God, but he has been seeing all this exciting stuff on paranormal television shows. Sam decides to try his hand at paranormal investigation. Some of the paranormal shows even featured Christian ghost hunters. Besides, Sam’s a God fearing Christian man, and he’s protected by the armor of God.

Sam goes out with his friend to the cemetery where they begin to ask spirits questions. Sam downloaded a paranormal app for his cell phone called a ghost box. Which allows the ghost hunters to have interactive conversations with disembodied spirits. They are essentially conducting a seance - necromancy. Most people think necromancy involves a psychic or a Quiji board. The new paranormal apps on cell phones can communicate with spirits.

A spirit starts to interact with Sam and his friend through his cell phone. The moment is exhilarating to Sam and his friend. Wow! Proof of his spirituality and after life.    

At this moment, Sam has stepped out of the protective covering of God. Ephesians 4:27 tells us not to give the devil a place of opportunity. The soul is capable of making choices that are a curse or a blessing. The choice of even coming out to a ghost hunt is a curse in itse;f. Sam gave in to his temptation to go ghost hunting. He has even conversed with a spirit in a seance using his ghost box cell phone app. This is not a mere sin that SAm has committed, it is a transgression against the law of God.

10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you. 13 You shall be blameless before the Lord your God. - Deuteronomy 18:10-13

Sam knows he is not supposed to be out there. But he is becoming obsessed and enthralled with the spirit box dialog he is having with a spirit. Suddenly, the conversation turns from simple questions to the spirit responding in threats.

The spirit box says “kill you”

Sam becomes filled with fear now. He looks up and he notices a shadowy figure from a few grave sites over moving towards him. Sam and his friend grab their equipment and bolt for this car. They get in the car and speed off out of the grave yard. Sam and his friend are a bit frantic. They’re gasping to catch their breath. Sam looks up in the rearview mirror and sees a person sitting in the back seat. His heart nearly leaps out of his chest. He turns around while driving to look behind him in the back seat. There is no one there. He looks up in the rear view mirror, apprehensively, and but there is no one there. He knew he saw someone in the back seat of his car.

Sam makes it home, his heart is starting to calm down. After he gets out of the car, he cautiously looks at the back seat again. No one is there. Good! So Sam goes inside his house to go to bed. Before he heads off to bed, Sam decides to make a sandwich. As he makes the sandwich, Sam sees out of the corner of his eye a shadowy figure walk past the hallway in the other room. His heart races again, and he steps into the other room to make sure nothing is there. He shrugs off the incident as overwrought nerves.

Sam decides to sit down and read his bible to calm his nerves. He finds at this moment he just can’t concentrate and read. He struggles to read the scripture, maybe he is just too tired. Sam goes off to bed to go to sleep.

In the middle of the night, Sam is abruptly woken, around 3:00 AM, by a door slamming and the sound of footsteps in his house. Sam gets up out of bed, walks his home and finds no intruders. He goes back to bed, only he can’t sleep, now there are rodents in his attic causing a ruckus.

In a couple of days, Sam doesn’t go into work his mind is in a weird funk. He is also hyper vigilant about the shadow figure that follows him around. Over the next course of days, Sam’s mind is running over time bringing up offensives that people in his church have done to him. These accusations run none stop and keeps him awake at night too.

The demons had already started to compromise Sam’s intellect and reasoning. They were speaking to Sam using the voice of his own intellect. When Sunday finally rolls around, Sam won’t even want to go to church and be around people that he is now convinced  mistreated him. Sam is now isolated in his soul and in the first stages of demonic possession. First the demon separates the soul from it’s friends and support group, and in the next stages the soul will be separated from Jesus. Sam also notices weird scratch marks on his body, some he thought came from his horrible nightmare from last night about demons torturing him.

Had Sam repented and swallowed his pride he would have saved himself a lot of misery early on. He would have only needed a deliverance prayer of liberation while he was only oppressed and not yet being possessed. Satan is like a lawyer and will seize all your assets if you let him.

A few weeks later, Sam’s older daughter, Jennie, who is married and has moved out of the house is concerned about her father. Jennie’s father in the past couple of weeks has become increasingly agitated and paranoid during her phone calls with him. Jennie decides to take action and go to her father’s house to check up on him. Jennie finds the house in state of disarray and filth. Jennie tries to clean up her father’s house but Sam is agitated and seems to be in a state of dementia.  She decides to take her father to the hospital because he is obviously in no state to be left home alone.

Sam refuses to leave the house with his daughter. All sorts of vulgarities come out of his mouth as he calls her the worst things possible. Jennie calls the police for assistance in the matter. The police arrive and Sam becomes agitated and confrontational with the police. This earns him a free ride to county general where he is placed, strapped down under medical supervision.

The doctors find Sam to be a schizophrenic since he is complaining about all the voices in his head. Inside Sam’s soul he know he is schizophrenic, these voices are real and the all showed up suddenly a few weeks ago. He can’t control is intellect long enough to get out a thought. These voices won’t let him think or get any rest. Every time Sam tries to call out on Jesus, the voices get louder and shout,“Jesus won’t help you!” His intellect and will for prayer get shut down through torment. It’s hard to formulate a thought with all these voices in his head.

This process of possession I outlined is modeled from what I have witnessed from Christian people making poor spiritual choices, didn’t repent, and were possessed by evil spirits.  God will bring you back from possession but it is a really rough road to travel. Demonic possession cases are rare, where we come across a fully compromised soul. My first case with demonic possession was with a young Christian man who became angry at God when his father died from cancer and his younger brother was shot and killed on the city streets. Anger is a normal and valid emotional response. However, this young man was so angry, he bought a satanic bible and read allowed form hit. He gave his soul over to satan. This was one of the worst cases of possession I had seen. It took our intercessor team several months of intercession before God released us into the battle. The soul was redeemed by God.

What I demonstrated in this text was the progression of demonic possession of a Christian from the opportunity given to the devil to the unrepented transgression. Transgression and iniquity are what give the demons legal rights to the soul. We are capable of both good and evil choices. Just as Adam and Eve were capable of making good or bad decision. 

Demonic possession to a Christian is progressive over time. Many people feel a Christian can't be possessed because of the indwelling trinity. The trinity dwells in the spirit of the person. Demons afflict the soul. The human soul pulls away from the indwelling trinity when it is overcome with guilt and shame from its iniquities. Just as Adam and Eve hid from God in the garden. Your soul hides from God in shame.

The soul pulls away and is isolated where the demons can attack ferociously. The soul and the spirit of the person are out of alignment with the Holy Spirit. The Christian is restored from possession when the soul realigns with the indwelling Jesus Christ.


I put this model together based on the things I was seeing in the field with demonized Christians. This was a case study for the most severe form of oppression - demonic possession. 

Keep in mind also, there isn’t any scripture that states a Christian can’t have a demon. This is Western church rationality and it goes into the church spiritual correctness trash bin where it belongs.

Paranormal Investigators Being Scratched by a Demon

Just when I thought I was done blasting paranormal shows…. Saturday night, march 12, 2016, the Travel Channel aired the Ghost Adventures episode, Leslie’s Family Tree Restaurant. This episode took us to a haunted restaurant in Santaquin, Utah.

I am not going to go into much detail about this episode, I just want to fast forward to an incident that Zak Baggans captured on video where he was scratched by a demon. Now I am having a hard time determining what Ghost Adventures is truly about outside of thrill seeking and dangerously disturbing the demonic realm. Sadly, a lot of wannabe ghost hunters and people seeking the unknown in dangerous ways follow this show as if it were a documentary or training guide. This is far from what this show actually is and what is portraying. Zac portrays himself as a demon hunter but comes off more as a thrill seeker not truly grasping the powers of what he is meddling in.

Nearly every episode Zak provokes a demon, which in all honesty, in a person his spiritual disposition, is not a very smart thing to do. “You want to attack somebody? Attack me!”
Any person with a sound understanding in spiritual warfare would never give a demon legal grounds to attack them and attach to them. Is it any wonder he is always demonized when he leaves these places?

In this episode, Zak provoked a demon to scratch him like the demon did to another paranormal investigator in a previous investigation. For a demon hunter, Zak, clearly has no understanding of what it is he is dealing with. Let’s take a look at why a demon scratches. The purpose of the scratching is to curse you and your bloodline. This curse usually lasts for generations until it is broken. Now with this understanding, why would Zak exclaim, “AWESOME!!!”, when he was scratched? The answer is pure ignorance to the powers he is meddling with.

When these scratches happen, the demon is cursing the individual. These curses included severe oppression, spirit attachment, illness, from anything mild to the horrendous stuff like cancer. Addiction enters through these curses as well as a dysfunctional family line. Birth defects, generational illnesses, spirits of suicide and death enter as well. This stuff is serious. Now Zak Baggan has every wannabe ghost hunter adding this thrill seeking experience to their bucket list. By the way folks, sageing and New Age pagan cleansing, like Zak uses, doesn’t remove the spiritual attachment. This stuff is generational and it requires a the utmost High to remove the curse.

Seen enough of this stuff happen to Christian clients. Our team removed the curses and the clients never went back to ghost hunting. I have a saying, the spirit realm is not politically correct. There is only one way to salvation.

Christian Duplicity and Practicing Yoga

It’s been about 4 years since I posted my blog on Dear Chrisitan – Yoga is Hinduism over on my ministry blog, m16ministries.bogspot.com. To date this blog on Christian participation in yoga has been the most controversial posts of either of my blog sites. Since I am focusing my fireside chats on Christian duplicity in the church, Yoga has got to be the number one deception that has slithered its way into the pews.

The previously mentioned blog, on M16 Minsitries is my repository, for collecting info on yoga. You can easily burn up some hours there on the research I collected on Yoga. Western society has embraced Yoga as a holisitc wellness practice. It is not a wellness practice it is a spiritual practice of Hinduism. Many yogis in India are outraged that the Western world has turned Yoga into a multi-billion dollar holistic and wellness industry. Stripping the spirituality of Hinduism from Yoga. But is the spirituality really stripped? I cited an article over in Dear Christian Yoga is Hinduism blog that a yogi explained the Hinduism can’t be separated from the practice of yoga. All postures in yoga are adorations for demonic spirits – Hindu gods.

Many Christians get suckered into the deception that the poses of yoga can be redeemed. Can demons be redeemed? Can their work be redeemed? If you answered yes to any of these questions you have no core foundation in the teachings of the Bible. Don’t be suckered into this deception. Since I already wrote a thorough dissertation on why Christian’s shouldn’t participate in yoga, I will share with you a case I was apart of which involved possession and yoga. This case will best show how Satan uses duplicity to deceive Christians who practice yoga.

Possession and the Kundalini Spirit
About 2 years ago, I was in a church on a Sunday morning. The pastor preaching invited the presence of the Holy Spirit to enter the church right after worship. A woman sitting in the church service started screaming and shaking. I didn’t hear her at first, but she progressively got louder in her shrills and soon became a disruptive spectacle in the service. This woman was a few rows a across from me and a couple of people sitting around her kept glaring over at me to come over and do something! I wasn’t a pastor in this church so I had to wait for the authority of the church to release me to minister. One of the pastors, who wasn’t preaching that day, and is a friend of mine, waved his arm at me to come over and minister. I calmly made my way over to the woman who was manifesting and I discerned it was some sort of witchcraft. I put my hand over her third eye and I QUIETLY ordered her third eye closed in the name of Jesus Christ. The screaming immediately stopped and the woman slowly stopped shaking. The pastor I was ministering with led the woman out of the sanctuary. Where we ministered to her in the prayer room.

In the prayer room some of the details began to unfold about this woman, whom we’ll call, Teresa. Teresa was a cancer survivor and her doctor at Stanford recommended she take up yoga for holistic purposes. Teresa liked yoga and fully embraced the life style. Teresa was raised in the Catholic church. She knew her prayers and she said she knew Jesus. However, Teresa went to India and studied under a yogi. While Teresa was India, she became possessed with a spirit of Kundalini. By possession, I mean possession. She invited the spirit into her. As the conversation unfolded and the depth of her involvement was revealed I decided it was time for an appointment to have Teresa work with me.

Some points I want to make clear here, most Christians who take yoga are oppressed by a Kundalini spirit and not possessed. This was a unique circumstance where Teresa literally invited the spirit of Kundalini into her at a Hindu temple. Does this answer your question if a Christian can have a demon or be possessed? God gave us free will. We can use our free will and live blessed or we can use our free will to do a lot of stupid things. Like, get ourselves possessed. Please don’t send me an e-mail on why a Christian can’t be possessed. I have encountered a lot of Christians oppressed and a couple possessed. It happens. We’re allowed to fall. It’s free will.

As I mentioned, Teresa, was a life long Christian, she was Latino, and she knew was raised Catholic. Keep this in mind, because I want you to see how the duplicity and Luciferan agenda started seeping in on Teresa’s spiritual beliefs.

When Teresa, myself, and the pastor’s wife, from the church service on Sunday, and I got together, we immediately focused on the yoga spirits. As I led Teresa, in prayer, she started saying these crazy things, like, the sanskrits, are older than the Gospel. And started doing this reverse apologetics, on why yoga was real, and Jesus was only some guy who lived 2 thousand years ago. My self, and the women with me, reminded Teresa, that Jesus has no time line, He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the un-created One and He existed before time. He created the demons who invented the sanskrits. This whole argument went in circles with the sanskrits. The duplicity twisted her beliefs in her mind that  the sanskrits were older than the New Testament -and, more specifically,  Jesus! This folks is duplicity and it is the demon running the interference.

I asked Teresa if we could pray for her, I wanted the demon to manifest again so the prayer team could expel it. Teresa went into this completely fake prayer ecstasy thing. Where she looked like she was filled with joy. I, on the other hand, smelled smoke, like something was burning. I asked Teresa if she smelled it and she said no she could feel the Holy Spirit. The smell of the smoke got worse with me. I knew the Kundalini spirit was manifesting as a fake Holy Spirit.

I asked Teresa if I could ask the True Holy Spirit to increase His presence in our office. She said no. Anymore, and her legs would fly open and she would urinate on herself. I asked her if that happened often. She said, yes, every time she prays and the Holy Spirit comes. She said He comes so powerful that she needs to run to the bathroom before her legs spread and she forcefully urinates. I told Teresa, that her experience is not that of the Holy Spirit. She became offended and angry at me. At that point there was really nothing more I could do for Teresa unless she wanted to deal with the truth. Teresa didn’t want to give up her spirit of Kundalini.

She even told us that when the spirit entered her in India, when her Kundalini was activated, her legs flew open and she urinated on herself. What we have in this situation is a demonic possession.

Since Teresa was Catholic, and I am pretty much Assembly of God, I notified my Roman Catholic Exocrcist friend, Fr Gary Thomas, and a Roman Catholic Deliverance minister friend, Moira Noonan. But wanted Teresa to contact them immediately by she never did. Teresa later contacted me with a follow up e-mail and a link to an article on how it’s ok for Catholics to practice yoga. Which is a lie, Fr. Gary Thomas, and Moira Noonan, know full well the Luciferan agenda in yoga. Teresa is a Christian trapped in duplicitous thinking. Which led to her being possessed. She took the forbidden fruit from the tree just as the serpent had asked her too.

I have many other cases involving yoga. I have seen crazy things with yoga, like a person levitate. This happened while I was on a Christian covert outreach. We had an undercover ministry tent. A young yogi liked the peaceful Holy Spirit atmosphere and came in and laid down at my feet where I sat. His head was right at my feet. In seconds, his eyes rolled in the back of his head. I could only see the whites of his eyes. Then his body went limp, like a rag doll.  The yogi’s butt stayed planted on the ground, from shoulders up he began to float up off the ground with his arms dangling down like he was dead or unconscious. I bound that demon right away and his body fell back to the ground.

I am going to share with you my personal response on yoga and stretching. Whenever I share this about yoga I always get someone in my face about stretching muscles. What if I just want to stretch my muscles? What you can't stretch your muscles without yoga? I am a 50+ old school power lifter. I stretch muscle groups before and after training sessions. I don't use yoga. I use physiology. I am not telling you can't do yoga. As for me I'll never go near it. And for our friend in this story, it's been several years and to this date I believe she still runs to the bathroom to pray.

Fireside chat: Christian Duplicity and Harry Potter

Welcome to fireside chats, where I let you inside my head and hear the conversations I have within myself whenever I come across entrenched duplicitous behaviors in the church. I am going to host a fireside series on duplicity on how I encounter it on a daily basis in my prayer ministry.

Webster defines duplicity as a dishonest behavior that is meant to trick someone.

Duplicity in the church occurs when you the believer knows that something is not right, or goes against the will of God, yet you let your soul convince you that what you’re doing is okay with God.

Notice, I didn’t say demons?

Duplicity is a Luciferan agenda that enters the church through – you!

Far too many  deliverance ministers and their brothers seems to be on a witch hunt for a jezebel spirit, yet, they don’t deal with their own duplicitous behaviors. Perhaps this is one of those cases where Jesus is telling you to deal with that 2x4 sticking out of your own eye.

It’s not up to me or a deliverance minister to tell you what’s right or wrong. It’s between you and the Holy Spirit --and how you offended Him at the end of the day. Your soul must deal with this! This is about your sanctification!

I am going to address many topics on church duplicity in the next couple of articles on this blog. 
Today, I am going to address the topic of Harry Potter and how its connected to duplicity in the church. I thought I beat this one to death, but the church still keeps bringing this back in. I will only cover the key point of how Harry Potter, or as we call it in our house, Harry Pottie, offends God! The rest is up to you, if you’re out raged then go talk to the Holy Spirit. Ask Him if you or your kids should be reading this. That would be a good exercise in whether you truly hear God or not – or if you listen to your own soul-ish desires.

I work daily in the ministry of spiritual warfare and deal with the occult and attacks from witchcraft. My discernment is pretty dead on for incoming attacks.  What I and other people in ministry started reporting on was how are own alarms were starting to go off with subtle entertainment productions, like the Wizard of Ox, Wicked, the Craft, and Harry Pottie.  The more the spiritual discernment grew within us for darker battles, the stronger our discernment became, tangibly, for a disdain for these venues of entertainment. I used to really love these genre of movies, The Craft, and The Wizard of OZ was my favorite movie of all time. So what happened? Why the change on spirit in myself and with others in deep warfare ministry?

The spiritual discernment started becoming more aware of witchcraft and how it was seeping in through the cracks of our every day lives. Anything that is in agreement with witchcraft or glorifies witchcraft is pretty much witchcraft.

Luciferan Agendas and Duplicity in the Church

The father of duplicitous behavior in church, just so happens to also be the father of lies. None other than the fallen angel with the title, Satan. We know from Ezekiel 28, and Isaiah 14, that the title of Satan, was originally, the title, Morning Star, or Lucifer, in Latin.

Witchcraft is rebellion to God. The angel with the title (Latin) Lucifer led a third of the angels in rebellion to God. This rebellion and the corruption of Lucifer’s powers into darkness was the birthing of witchcraft. A white witch, good witch, good witch from the east, wicked witch from the west, the pagan witch who solves police crimes, all draw their power from witchcraft. The father of witchcraft is Lucifer.

All witchcraft is from the forces of darkness, Lucifer.

What does that make Harry Potter, and who is this novel series glorifying? Witchcraft!

I know what you're saying to yourself. But I am a mature Christian and I nor my kids would ever get sucked into witchcraft through Harry Potter. It’s simply a children’s book.

Fair proposition. Let’s look at the Luciferan agenda in Harry Potter. It’s right there in black and white, or whatever it is your Kindle settings are.

Let’s take a look at the Hogwarts' syllabus from Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s stone. At the fictitious Hogwarts, a student must study, transfiguration (shape shifting), charms, potions, history of Magic, defense against the dark arts, astronomy, herbology, and flying. The discussion is not to bash this work of fiction, but the point is highlight the duplicity for a Christian.

Deuteronomy 18:10-13 - 10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you. 13 You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.

Go back and re-read the Howart’s syllabus and Deuteronomy 18:10-13 until you see it. This is duplicity, scripture forbids us to do something, and the Luciferan agenda comes in and tells us it’s ok to go against the will of God.

The purpose of a Luciferan agenda is to invert scripture and go against the will of God.
Sorcerer – transfiguration, flying
One who casts spells – charms, potions, herbology (pharmaceutica)
Witchcraft – defense against dark arts (witchcraft against witchcraft), flying

The Luciferan agenda takes something that is against God's will and flips it with a flare of seduction.
Don't be seduced by the lie. Adam and Eve were seduced with the Luciferan agenda in the garden. Folks this is how the occult works. This is one of the ways how the occult recruits, through seductive lies.

The Harry Potter series makes witchcraft look like a lot of fun. It even kindled interest in a lot of children who read the series to explore and dabble in the dark arts of witchcraft. Mission accomplished.

My goal isn’t to convince you of what you should or should not be doing. If you’re into spiritual warfare and you have a crack like this in your spiritual life, I would go repent and seal that crack immediately!

 

My Encounter with the Demon Calling Itself Voldemort

Back in 2010, it was Spring break, and I was leading ministry outreach team  from the a school of supernatural team from Bethel Redding. We were ministering to the homeless in the Haight-Ashbury of San Francisco. We were setting up at the Mc Donald’s on Stanyan in the late afternoon to prepare to go out on the streets and meet with street people.

While we were setting up one of the girls on our team freaked out because a homeless man came up to her and identified himself as “Legion”. He was manifesting spirits so I walked over and talked with him. His taunting spirits wanted no part of me, so they went back down inside. The man had a lightning bolt tattoo on his face like Voldemort in Harry Potter had. The man identified himself as Voldemort. I noticed it was another spirit that was up and not the man. From that day on I was always intrigued that a demon chose to represent itself as Voldemort. And with Voldemort were Legion. Off and on I saw that homeless a few more times on the streets. He mostly manifested Voldemort whenever I was around him. I always thought this was an interesting encounter from the Harry Potter lore. Is it demonic? Does it have demonic roots? There is something about Harry Potter that fuels dark angelic realms do to the world wide popularity of the series.

I hope there is a convincing case here about duplicity and how it enters the church through the Harry Potter intellectual property. I know there is even a priest at Yale who teaches about Christianity and the benefits of Harry Potter fiction. The course points out the Jesus like aspects in Harry Potter. Again this is Luciferan duplicity. Forget Jesus, magic is what you need and it does it in the place of Jesus.  You can’t fight darkness with darkness. But the Luciferan agenda wants you to think so.

I can speak volumes on Harry Potter and the occult, but I want to keep the fireside chats to vignettes, in a matter of speaking.

Some of you Christians may flame away at me. Go right ahead. I just pray you never have to walk in my shoes to find out why the Holy Spirit has me convicted in this manner.
