Christian Spiritual Authority in the Heavenly Realms - Part III

John Paul Jackson wrote in his book, Needless Casualties of War, that engaging spirits in the heavenly places was like throwing hatchets at the moon. Do intercessors overstep their bounds and battle in places they don't belong?

Several years ago, I used to give spiritual warfare talks at a local bay area church conference. At the end of my talk, a local Asian pastor of a home church pushed his intercessor up through the attendees at the conference and begged me to help him. His intercessor manifested spirits immediately and this was a situation where I was warned by the PhD running the event that I was only allowed to give the rated G Disney version of deliverance ministry in my presentation. Well, now there was a manifestation and there was no putting the genie back in the bottle, so to speak. My wife and I discerned the intercessor went after a regional spirit. The intercessor confirmed she did, and was left with a nasty oppression demon. We did prayers of liberation and the woman was set free. The event was an interesting public example of over stepping ones bounds in the spirit realm and how the higher ranking evil spirits can respond in warfare, and dispatch a low-level demon to oppress and afflict the soul..

Part III in our discussion on Christian Authority and Dominion in spiritual warfare. In this installment, I provide the framework on prayer posture and authority in heavenly realms. According to scripture the heavens belong to Jesus. I call out dark angelic choirs as defined in Ephesians 6:12. In this talk I also discuss basic forms of petitioning prayer as it is presented in scripture. Do Christians have spiritual authority in the heavens? Can you bind principalities using your spiritual authority? How do you know if an attack is coming from the heavenly places? We'll take a look at what scripture tells about battles in the heavens.

Christian Spiritual Authority Over Low-Level Demonic Spirits - Part II

Can the average lay Christian expel a demon? Where are instructions found in the Bible to cast out evil spirits? Are there limitations to our spiritual authority with demonic spirits? Do you have to be a Christian to cast out spirits?

M16 Ministries was founded in 2009 as 501c3. During this time God has brought numerous and crazy battles to the ministry door step. From the get go, God hurled me into a Mark 9:29 type of ministry. As a street minister working with the drug addicts, homeless, and prostitutes,on the streets of San Francisco with Night Strike ministry, I have seen a lot of the occult and the supernatural. Some stuff so freaky, I literally had some street ministers never return to Night Strike.

During this time I have met a lot of severely demonic afflicted souls, fractured souls, and survivors of the occult. In my years, I moved away from calling myself a deliverance minister and am now simply a minister of God. Why? For one, it's what we're supposed to do, according to Luke 10 (see the training). Second, in my 10 years I have watched deliverance ministry turn into a Vegas side show run by prideful ministers. This isn't the deliverance ministry Jesus gave us, its a circus version that proliferates bad teaching. Some deliverance ministries have even become doctrinal, which in itself again is something very bad. Many ministries are not even grounded Biblically anymore in their teachings or practices. For instance, where in the Bible does it instruct people to cough out a demon? When I work with individuals who have issues other than demons (i.e. behavioral), they insist their issue is demonic and proceed to do the cough in front of me to prove their issue is demonic. These are poor souls who have been conditioned by Vegas deliverance ministries. Let's take a look at the Biblical approach to casting out demons. In Part II, or this 3 part teaching, I go through the scripture to demonstrate how Jesus instructed us to expel low-level demons - deliverance ministry!

Christian Spiritual Authority and Dominion - Part I

Several years back, M16 Ministries used to go New Age expos and do prophetic ministry with the New Agers attending. One particular woman I worked with sat down and I prayed to God for what God would like to share with her.

God told me that she was having a horrible situation at home with her spirit guide. She was at first mortified that I knew about the spirit at home, and second that it was her 'friendly spirit guide' behind all the spiritual activity in her house. We're usually covert at these expos, but I leaned into the woman and told her, "There is power in the name of Jesus, go home and renounce your spirit guide and tell it to leave in the name of Jesus!" She was dumbfounded and responded. "You're a Christian?" This revelation allowed me to share who Jesus is with her. I never saw her again, and I know at that time that was the piece of information she needed to here from a covert evangelist, that Jesus is real. Which probably allowed her to open up and seek conversations about Jesus.

Now, two things here. One, there is power in the name of Jesus, second, when Jesus completed the work on the cross, He restored dominion and authority to all mankind. The dominion we have is over the earth. God created us to co-rule with Him.

Jesus gave mankind spiritual dominion over the earth when He created us.
In this installment of A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare the Blog, we look at the Christian dominion God gave us. And we look out how our dominion ties in with our spiritual authority. This topic can be exhaustive and like a PhD dissertation. I kept it to the bullet points. I originally intended to outline both our spiritual authority terrestrially and in the heavenly realms, but in the end, because of the amount of information I am breaking these up. This is the first installation of a two part series on Christian Dominion and Authority. In part 1 I will outline our boundaries of our spiritual authority within our God given dominion.

What Christians Need to Know About Reiki Healing

During my M16 Ministry sessions I frequently run into Reiki healing that has been brought into the church or is being practiced or used by Christians.
Reiki is New Age spiritual healing that is falsely advertised as not being spiritual. When in fact it is channeling of energy. The deception is in where is this energy is being channeled from and how it is being guided. In that sentence alone we touched upon some buzz words. Here is what you need to know if you're practicing or receiving this form of healing.

Comments on the Ghost Adventures Westerfeld House and Rituals

In this installment we get to travel local to the M16 Ministries neck of the woods, San Francisco. Where the Ghost Adventures crew brings their follies to the historical Westerfeld mansion, located near the psychedelic the the district of the Haight Ashbury. The location of the summer of love of 1967. The site was full of addictions, mind control, and some very dark characters like Anton LaVey (the church of Satan),Charles Manson (Helter Skelter Manson murders), and Jim Jones (the People's Temple).

The GA team goes to the Westerfeld mansion and reviles spirits and irritates the forces of darkness.This episode paints an interesting picture of the spiritual atmosphere in this area. And some the spiritual craziness we've encountered on the streets during ministry. Some of which is documented in A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare.

Comments on Satanism in Ghost Adventures Live Halloween

In this installment I address the blatant satanism that is creeping in more and more in each episode of the Ghost Adventures. At first it appeared to be for ratings, but now the GA team has been dabbling long enough to know they're involved in full fledged satanism.

The Museum Live investigation episode that aired on Halloween completely supports this notion. Zak brought and gave legal grounds for a satanist witch to perform 24 hours worth of rituals for conjuring pure darkness (i.e. evil). He played ignorant in the show. But he knew full well what he authorized and carried out. These were pure satanic rituals on live tv. This is dangerous.

In the my blog entry, I identify the dark finger prints of satanism throughout the broadcast featuring the meeting of a so called white witch with a satanic priestess.

How False Prophetic Words Can Hurt Inner Healing

In this installment I discuss the ever increasing issue of unmentored church prophets delivering damaging words to those with dissociative identity disorder. I cover in detail this subject of prophetic ministry and why it shouldn't be used with DID in my book A Field Guide to Advanced Spiritual Warfare. False Prophetic ministry is becoming increasingly disruptive in inner healing circles and actually denying survivors of severe trauma healing in their work. A false word is a damaging word with sometimes irreversible set backs. I present my case below...

When Possession Comes to Your Ministry Door Step

I thought this topic would make a great fireside chat on what to do when you receive a case of demonic possession. First and foremost, you must clearly understand the difference between inner healing and liberation prayer ministry. You must know the clear distinction between demonic oppression and demonic possession.In this installment, I give some suggestions on how to work begin working with a person that truly is demonically possessed. Your job as a Christian counselor and minister is to be the biggest skeptic on a persons claims they are possessed. You must treat the area as a crime scene and let the evidence tell the story and not the person involved in the crime. You are seeking the truth. Hope this information is helpful to you.

Kingdom Discipleship Training Interview with Adrienne Powell

I am very excited to post to this blog. Let's call it the lost film footage. My close ministry friend Adrienne Powell is working on launching her ministry, Kingdom Discipleship Training, which equips ministers for supernatural ministry. Adrienne is one my of old Night Strike street ministry team members, and we have tons of stories from the streets. Many are incredibly prophetic, healing, and warfare stories. The type people would have when they are in the streets of San Francisco on a Friday night in places they shouldn't be, even during the day. It was an honor to work with Adrienne and film this 'pilot' so to speak that was a dress rehearsal for the real thing. This video was shot, I believe April or May of 2017. It is only part I of the interview like I said it was lost film that surfaced. Again, it was a test flight, the video is rough around the edges. But the content is worth posting, as Adrienne and I share our experiences. For me this project was exciting, and I can't wait to see how God evolves the Kingdom Discipleship Training. Adrienne is ordained under Joan Hunter Ministries. Thank you Adrienne for letting me be part of this exciting venture.

I would like to comment now on the Dead Files Season 12 Episode 09 - Cursed. Was this a case of Satanic Ritual Abuse and the paranormal psychic expert missed it?

Learn the proper way for Christian ministers to handle the occult cases of paranormal activity. What are the signs to look for and how do you know if you stumbled into a case of ritual abuse? Back in the Cauldron

This particular entry I am not very fond of writing, but this information needs to get out. There was a popular book that came out a few years back, titled, Escaping the Cauldron: Exposing the Occult Influences in Everyday Life. Another title, by the same author is An Insider's Guide to Spiritual Warfare: 30 Battle-Tested Strategies from Behind Enemy Lines. The author has since, returned to practicing the occult. She has left the truth and return to being a medium.

She currently runs a blog under a pagan name and talks about pendulums and mediumship. For this reason, if you own either of these books, I recommend removing it from your bookshelf immediately, pray over them, and destroy them.I have since tried to reach out to the author and ask her to quietly remove the books. This is false advertising and testimony. She has not responded to my requests for dialogue. This is very sad and heartbreaking. But we have a God bigger than this and He will leave the 99 to chase her.

To Rebuke or Not to Rebuke

I am going to ask that in this situation, do not rebuke the author. There is something deeper going on with this individual, and they don't need rebuking or opinions. For the time being, the request is only to get the message out to avoid this material and not purchase it. It's a matter of integrity on the author's end that doesn't seem to be of interest. This lackadaisical approach is dangerous to a person coming out of the occult and uses this book for salvation. It can be detrimental and devastating to the soul seeking freedom to find out that the author left the faith.

Rebuking will not work here, because there is trauma and pain. We want open communication with this individual so they can fully heal. You need to understand the occult and how it divides a mind to understand what I am saying here. So please don't rain down on her with fire and brimstone, let her go so Jesus can work with her. Yes, you can screw up what the Holy Spirit may be doing to get her back. In the meantime, just pray for her.

Don't Bring the Occult into Your Church

I made a commentary earlier that people coming out of the occult should not be put up on the pulpit for this very reason. Very few ministries work with the occult at this level and understand the inner workings and what people are going through as they get healed. Healing takes a while especially if there is anything generational or ritual going on. It takes a while (can be a magnitude of decades) for these individuals to heal. Many believed themselves to be healed and this can be a dangerous situation. The church finds it exciting that these people give their testimonies. It is, but they're very rarely fully healed and we can't put them on a pedestal, and for God sakes not the pulpit. Some people are even making conferences around speakers who are former occultists and former high ranking satanists. Stop this!!! Not that they don't have a good testimony, some may. You just don't know the level of programming they received and what identity checks in when they speak to your congregation.

The enemy tempts us with ungodly desires. For instance, this individual was sharing of an electronic voice phenomenon, EVP, where she used Jesus' name and a demon shrieked. This got played in churches people!!! No!!!!! What she was doing was contacting the dead (which is what she is back to doing) and a demon answered. If you were a pastor and you brought this into your church, you need to repent for allowing this, defiling your church, and your church body. Don't bring these people in EVER!!! Why, because of the duplicity of occult survivors like we're seeing here with this incident. I think even CBN and Christian pod casts ran the EVP.

No!!! -It's a demon!

The pastor's job isn't to bring physical proof of Jesus Christ or his invisible realm into the church. The pastor's job is to build up faith in the unseen kingdom of God. FAITH!!!

When you listen to an EVP you are seeking proof for an invisible God. That is not faith! We believe in the unseen God that is faith. We're in a time of church history where we want to chase the signs and wonders. Be careful what you chase! This signs and wonders is a form of Necromancy and it is an abomination to God!

I don't enjoy disseminating this sort of news, but it needs to be known. Especially, if the books are still for sale as Christian titles. So if you have these books, please remove them.

Praying for a Child that is Spiritually Afflicted

In this installment of A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare blog, we're going to examine the controversial and complicated subject of praying over spiritually afflicted children. Is a child suffering from being mute, palsy, or other debilitating maladies under the oppression of a demon? The great difficulty in cases involving children is that we want the root cause to be demonic oppression, so the child can be quickly healed. Many times, the issue is not demonic oppression, and the ministers involve failed to discern this.. The child is placed under a lot of trauma, more than they are already experiencing from the their illness alone, by ill-equipped, non discerning deliverance ministers.

So what is the process of discerning? What do you do and how do you pray if it is not demonic oppression? How rare is demonic possession? And how do you pray for children, regardless, in these delicate situations? I cover this topic in this AFG2SW blog entry. This is actually a video response to a good friend of mine, who is a very capable minister. She is trying to discern if the situation she is dealing with on hand is demonic in nature, or she needs to pray for healing.

Praying for People Made Ill by Shadow Apparitions

This is a follow up blog entry to my previous , Commentary on Individiuals Getting Terminal Illness From Contact with Shadow Figure, where I spoke about how an individiual may
become terminally ill from a manifesting shadow passing through them.
This coversation is based off an individual the ministry has been working with in ridding her house of activity, a few years back. And now working with praying for a family member who has become ill with cancer from a shadow apparition that passed through them.
We're going to discuss prayer postures, the difference between petitioning and authoritative. We're also going to discuss how to pray for healing for individuals that have been made ill by contact with these demonic spirits. This discussion will include basic curse breaking as wll as some guidance in expelling spirits that maybe attached to the illness.

Commentary on Individuals Getting Terminal Illness from Contact with Shadow Figure

In this installment I respond to a question from an individual I had worked with years prior in cleansing the home of a shadow figure.
In my response in a prior video, where I discussed how people can be extremely and terminally ill in these environments.
